The piece is was a collaborative effort. The lettering was done by Fran Sloan, a noted Oregon Lettering Artist. The decoration was done by David Griffith. This piece was created as part of a hand made book given to Jacqueline Svaren by her former students for her retirement from teaching in 1987. The entire piece stands approximately 8.5 inches tall by 11 inches wide.
